Wine and beer are also a focus at O’Connell’s with the new list featuring over one hundred wines from Australia, NZ, France, Italy, Spain and Austria. We have reinvigorated the furniture and fittings, opened up the dining room to create a seamless, new space and defined the prohibit area. The result is warm and inviting, and customers will feel correct at home, whether it’s for a meal in the bistro, a casual drink or bite to eat in the bar, or for a special, private occasion.

We are arrogant to announce, in conjunction with the Melbourne Food Wine Festival, the return or our winter roast! Reach and have a look, tell us what you think! We would be disappointed if the function were to be canceled, however we realism that circumstances occasionally make this necessary. Delight request a copy of the booking contract for further details. Confirmation of end numbers of guests attending and all end details should be notified to the functions manager no less than 48 hours (2 days) prior to the event. For any cancellations made 48 hour prior to the event the client will be charged in packed for each guest not in attendance, any meaningful decline in numbers will see the event moved to the maximum appropriate space for the number of guests. The balance of the account must be settled on the day of the function either by cash or major credit card. Although accidents can happen, devastate to any part of our premises can be avoided by appropriate communication between the organizer and our staff when arranging furniture and displays. No nails screw or adhesives are to be old repairs and replacement charges will be passed onto the client. You are financially responsible for any loss or damage sustained to the premises or our property during a function or by your guests when entering or leaving the premises. Willing a uppermost of 28, this function room is on the ground floor of the hotel, with important windows facing out towards our Coventry Street courtyard and features a cony fireplace. Our upstairs dining room, like the name suggests is located on the first floor and accommodates a uppermost of 22 guests, boasting city views over tree lined South Melbourne streets.
