Imvc has a strong track-record and is well respected amongst schools, government and the broader community. Imvc was established in 1998 and addresses these issues by serving young people aged 13 ????? 19, within mainstream schooling and disengaged from education. Imvc?????s programs address skill shortage areas within vocational employment and lead to lower unemployment levels, thereby impacting the wellbeing of the broader community. Today, imvc?????s geographic footprint has expanded to provide programs across inner and outer north and inner and outer east.

As a training provider our capacity to provide pliable qualification linkages and pathways in education and training is enhanced. In our delivery of accredited and preaccredited training, we provide trivial classes, a lofty level of personal support, experienced trainers and most importantly a hospitable deposit to learn. IMVC has strong established links with industry helping to make training more tailored and responsive to workforce requirements, thus maximizing the employment outcomes for our learners. Registered as a Learn Local organization with the Adult, Community and Further Education (ace) Board, IMVC delivers a suite of ace funded preaccredited programs focused on work readiness, pathway planning and employment pathways. IMVC has a proven track record and is the preferred VET broker for these schools. Our unique Host School model enables schools with limited senior lesser curriculum offerings and resources to bear extensive vocational programs. VET Courses enable students to benefit credit towards a recognized VET qualification while completing general education curriculum or work towards senior lesser certificate. The year long program provides opportunities for project based learning and development of industry skills. The Inner Melbourne VET Cluster (IMVC) is a notforprofit incorporated association at the forefront of developing superior practice initiatives and models to serve the needs of young people, providing them with incessant opportunities to fulfill their potential for economic and social participation. The programs aim to prepare you for further education, training and employment. They can also be a appropriate way to explore different occupations while you are quiet in tall school and test whether you are interested in pursuing a future in that industry. EmpowerMe is designed to yield learners with the tools and resources to devise effective pathway planning and prepare for the workforce. The program consists of three workshops that can be delivered separately or collectively. The workshops will provide learners with: Career management skills to assist them prepare for their future. The tools they need to make informed career decisions and successfully transition into further education ardor training. The Inner Melbourne VET Cluster (IMVC) is a notforprofit incorporated association at the forefront of developing superior practice initiatives and models to serve the needs of young people, providing them with endless opportunities to fulfill their potential for economic and social participation. Momentum Youth Services targets young people at risk of disengaging or who have disengaged from education and are seeking to access encourage to transition into study, training and or employment. Momentum Youth Services offers individual and tailored encourage depending on the young person’s needs and may include: Reducing the impact of barriers to education, training or employment. It is a specialist service for these particularly vulnerable young people within the leaving care population. Broaden Your Horizons provides a expansive range of information that can aid young people with disability, their families carers and other professionals prepare for life after school. This online resource aims to offer young people the tools and resources they need to succeed and excel in further education, training and employment. The Making Experience Count book is a collection of twelve personal stories aimed at sharing helpful information and resources for adult age job seekers with disability. The stories contained yield rich personal experiences about the challenges and obstacles overcome to achieve dreams. With a comprehensive Resource Index the book also highlights resources and services that may be useful to people with disability providing insight and links to further information for those looking to work, observe or up skill.
